Linda, one of our current students, was in the travel business almost 30 years ago. She came to our program looking to update her travel knowledge and is close to finishing up the last module of the program She has been selling travel to friends and family since early summer 2018 and has successfully booked enough travel to cover the cost of her program already. What a success story!
In September, Linda was able to attend her first Mark Travel Summit in Cancun and enjoyed break-out sessions covering sales, marketing, groups, weddings and met with many hotel partners. While in destination, she also toured approximately ten resorts in the Riviera Maya. She learned specifically about Destination Wedding programs and enjoyed touring a vast array of hotel brands.
Linda has already joined a networking group and is working with some other local businesses to cross promote travel. She is doing a great job building her client base and looks forward to continuing to grow in knowledge and sales. Here’s what Linda had to say about the program:
