Terri signed up for the first training course offered back in 2013. Since then, Terri has built quite the successful travel business and enjoys her retirement from government work with lots of travel with friends and family. Terri is involved with local networking groups to help promote her business and also partners with other wedding vendors to promote honeymoons and destination weddings in her community. She also just started her own blog to promote travel specials, share her own travel experiences and educate her clients about current updates and changes in the travel industry.

In the past five years, Terri has attended many destination familiarization tours (FAMS) with Apple Vacations and Funjet Vacations as well as her host agency, The Travel Gals. She has visited dozens of hotels in Cancun, Riviera Maya, Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas, Jamaica and Punta Cana. She has also attended FAMS to Hawaii through the Hawaii Convention & Visitors Bureau, becoming a Master Agent for each of the Hawaiian Islands. She recently returned from a FAM to Finland with Collette and has also visited Ireland and Peru to hike the Incan Trail.

Terri’s next adventure involves leading a group from her church on a tour of Israel with Collette Tours. Terri is a great example of working hard and playing hard and honing her expertise by visiting many hotels and destinations around the world. Here’s what Terri has to say about her coaching experience with TravelAgentCoaching.com:

“I believe my initial training set me up for success.   It provided insight into the myriad vendors available to book amazing tours all over the world, from all-inclusive options to self-drive to guided tours.  There really are vendors for every option.  And getting to know them and their booking sites allows me to choose the perfect one for my clients.  No two clients are alike and neither are any two vendors.  I try very hard to find the right partnership.  And my training not only exposed me to these vendors, but it has given the opportunity to meet and travel with  them to develop a close relationship that benefits me as well as my clients. The ongoing support I received is invaluable.  I maintain notes and spreadsheets for reference, but there is always something unique that pops up and Trish has always been available to answer questions, walk me through "how to" or provide options to resolve concerns and issues.  I honestly would feel quite lost without this "lifeline". If you have the opportunity to work with her, you'll find her honest, compassionate and very willing to help.  She loves travel, really knows the business and she truly wants you to succeed.”
